I object to the proposals on the following grounds. The roads through Dinas Powys are already very congested and overworked. No convincing traffic management or junction capacity assessments have been put forward. No secondary access to the site is dangerous and may cause difficulty for emergency services. No work on the impact of the development on local schools and services has been published. The fields where the site is absorbs excess rainfall. No modelling of the impact of the development on downstream water drainage capacity or the ability of the waterways to cope with the additional run off is available. Downstream areas have already suffered from flooding. The additional water world threaten houses, schools and local businesses.
