Negative impact due to less room in Welsh language school, Ysgol Pen Y Garth. Welsh language negatively impacted.
As a resident in Dinas Powys within 1km of the proposed site, I strongly object to the development. Dinas Powys lacks the infrastructure to support 250 additional homes. The scheme relies on Cardiff Rd, already heavily congested and has no capacity for extra traffic. I invite the Council to observe traffic at peak hours. Local schools and the Murch surgery is already overstretched. Parking at the Train Stations is often full. Development risks increasing flood risks and cause unacceptable ecological harm. It will erode the Green Belt land and affect the unique character and feel of the village in a negative way.
