I'm not sure this has anything to do with the development plan.
I strongly object to HG1 KS2. As a resident of Dinas Powys for nearly 60 years. I am only too aware of the congestion on Cardiff Road - often nose to tail and very difficult if emergency vehicles want to pass.
The proposed development plans have not provided the required traffic modelling. Suggestions of walking and cycling over car dependent travel are made - pollution at the moment from the traffic, not to mention with more vehicles - makes this a very unpleasant experience as well as dangerous with pavements not adequate for pushchairs/wheelchairs. Accessibility to Eastbrook is very poor.
Horrified to see the proposals that our green space will be destroyed - wildlife is thriving and living on a very busy road. This is where we walk as a family. the development conflicts with the Well-being of Future Generations Act which has a duty to improve the social, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales.
