I object to the proposed development @ Weycock Cross due to the following.
1. Increased traffic on roads which are already heavily congested. Previous study over many years indicated poor transport link to the airport and vale areas. There has been no improvement of the road from Barry to Rhoose. This congestion will be increased by this development and aggravated by additional housing in the Vale.
2. Increased delay to emergency services
3. Environmental loss of green spaces, increased water run off with the risk of pollution/flooding in Porthkerry Country Park
4. Increased pressure on local infrastructure of health care and schools
