Bringing more people to Barry who don't currently speak Welsh-will have to cater to English Language.
Traffic is already at full capacity (Pontypridd rd and roads connecting at Weycock cross roundabout) - dangerous.
Drainage problems already-only going to get worse
Not enough road space regardless of what gets done.
Unfair on onlooking houses views-land and greenery, residents paid money for views.
Greenery/land needs to be kept for agriculture and quality of society.
Not enough public transport (trains)-buses will only add to chaos if goes ahead anyway.
Pollution is already extremely bad. I can't open our windows black dust from road accumulating currently.
Parking is an issue already.
Unsafe to make main road even busier-families and elderly children.
Affordable housing attracts wrong demographic-residents pay for a nice area and have been paying/living here for years-I don't want to live in any less of a nice area as CF62 *** is currently!
More housing isn't needed-modern times are calling for going back to growing own food and using land for this. Busiest roundabout currently-connecting to airport etc.
Ambulances ongoing continuously. Health Hazard for many of the above reasons.
