It's hard to know how much of an impact the development will have on the Welsh language.
If you want to promote the language, a Welsh primary school in the village would be a great step.
A Welsh school was built in Barry!
With an increase in the number of houses and residents, it is unlikely to promote the language, as the majority of the newcomers will not be Welsh speakers.
We strongly object to this proposal. Our main objections are:
1) Increased traffic
2) Increased pressure on local services
3) Increased pollution
4) Risk of flooding
