The development of Cardiff airport is reasonable for the local economy. But Planning seems to be systemically blind. They are clearly not engaged in joined-up thinking. If the laudable aim is to develop Cardiff Airport and there is a major artery road connecting the airport to Cardiff and the M4, that is Port Road, going immediately past the KS1 site, would be it rational behavior to introduce another 700+ cars (from the KS1 site) disgorging immediately at the "pinch-point" of the Weycock Cross roundabout? Do the planners really imagine this will help future airport development?
