Re HG1 KS1 site: it is excellent to have a station at Barry, but the NW Barry site is, once again, totally impractical for regular access without a car. Busy commuters, families with young children, older people will NOT walk or cycle to the station and there is NO easily accessible public transport to the station (and never has been since we moved here in 2015). Cars will inevitably be used for park and ride at the station. Walking or cycling to the station will be the exception, not the rule. To think otherwise is disingenuous.
