The RLDP aims below would be laudable if they were true. Just in relation to the HG1 KS1 site: building over ancient farmland outside of Barry's historic boundaries; forcing people into cars due to derisory public transport; creating greater intensities of traffic on already over-congested roads, increasing pollution, engaging in empty verbosity about walking and cycling; engaging in an obfuscation exercise - entitled 'consultation'. Consultation here is a misnomer. Residents have been given minimal chances to comment on an overlong, ill-organized and confusing RLDP website. We have consequently been swamped with thousands of pages of preemptive refutations to local worries.
