The Plan aims for a 'more resilient and greener Vale', responding to 'climate and nature emergencies'; and creating a 'more active and healthier Vale'. YET, in NW Barry KS1, building over well-used farmland with concrete; destroying wild life corridors; intensifying light and noise pollution, derisory local public transport (forcing car usage), utterly unrealistic speculations concerning people walking up and down steep hills to stations, GP services or shops etc; in reality forcing hundreds more cars onto road pinch-points like Weycock Cross roundabout. None of the above Vale planning aims make ANY sense in this light. It is just empty rhetoric.
