delete reference to allotments. this should not be the go to type of food growing because developers will argue viability and that their site is too small etc. we want to ensure developers are encouraged to provide growing spaces commensurate to the size of development and in many cases this does not involve large capital outlays. blanker canvasses allow communities to take 'ownership' of the space.
6.230 The preferred approach will always be for developers to provide facilities and infrastructure on site to serve the future occupiers of the development. on site provision should always be the preferred option.
