In order to support the role of Cardiff Airport as a strategic gateway for international connectivity the allocation of HG1 KS1 (North West Barry / Weycock Cross) needs to be removed from the RLDP. The location is on the main route to Cardiff Airport . The road is already a busy road that is often stacked up with traffic. Increasing the number of cars to the road from the proposed estate and changing the current road layout will certainly have a negative effect on the use of the airport.
