Absolutely none! Who is to say that welsh residents will move in. This will simply be another commuter area of the Vale
I think the pan to build up to 250 houses on this land is absolutely ridiculous! I lived in Dinas Powys for the majority of my life before moving to Penarth. I regularly travel through Dinas Powys and the traffic without the additional properties is gridlocked ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I am registered with the doctors surgery in the village and can never get an appointment as they are full to capacity. The schools are full.
There is no infrastructure to cope with the current number of properties, let alone another 250. THIS MUST NOT GO AHEAD
Whilst I understand the need for additional housing in the vale, you cannot just pick out a piece of green space and build on it against the wishes of the local community.
The Vale needs to reconsider these plans and look for alternative sites to build.
