I object to the proposed housing allocation HG1 KS2 – Land North of Dinas Powys. The development would significantly increase traffic on already congested roads such as Cardiff Road, worsening safety and delays. Local infrastructure, including schools, GP services, and public transport, is already under pressure and unlikely to cope with further demand without substantial investment. The site currently forms part of the open countryside and development would result in the loss of valuable green space and wildlife habitat. There is increased flood risk given that additional hard surfaces could worsen existing drainage and surface water issues in the area.
