I wish to formally object to the development on land east of Cardiff Road, Dinas Powys.
My concern relates to flooding. This area of land is known locally to flood frequently during periods of heavy rainfall. Developing housing on this site risks exacerbating existing flooding issues, both on the land itself and in surrounding areas.
Cardiff Road already experiences significant traffic congestion and is frequently gridlocked. A development of this size would inevitably place further strain on an already overburdened road network.
There is insufficient local infrastructure to support a development of this scale.
