I oppose the inclusion of the Land North of Dinas Powys in the RLDP due to its role in the flood prevention of Eastbrook, the loss of biodiversity, and issues it will cause with Dinas' infrastructure. The development will increased surface water runoff, flooding, and cause habitat loss. Concerns with the proposed include a biased ecology survey, inadequate active travel routes, and an unsuitable train station facilities. There is already traffic congestion, limited healthcare and education capacities.
The site is clearly not suitable due to the issues raised above especially for 250 No: faceless 'Monopoly' Type houses that will increase the population of the village by approximately 7%.
