Too many houses have already been built in Rhoose in the last few years. The worst outcome has been the terrible increased traffic between Rhoose and Barry.
Apart from a primary school, there has been no other amenities created.
There is a flooding risk as it is near Readers Way. This will make the flood more severe.
There is already too much on the medical infrastructure- ie dental and medical .
There would be too much traffic. It is already horrendous as it is on Port Road West. A 15mn to Barry now takes an hour!
We would need a real increase in train services from one hour to at least every half hour. There is far too much pressure on the transport system.
A better road system needs to be created between the airport and Barry, especially with the new College being built and the other house proposal by Weycock Cross. The traffic is absolutely horrendous at rush hour!
We need more more amenities, proper local shops and cafes, not another aldi or discount shops!
