Demographic dilution of Welsh speakers, negative impact in forcing existing locals away from the village. These people are more likely to be Welsh speaking than people moving in.
I would like to object to the planning reference HG1 KS2 in Dinas Powys.
I don’t believe the land is suitable for development. The green land is an important flood defence for the village. The road out of the village is already congested, 250 extra houses will make this worse. I also worry the addition of houses will lead to the village loosing its identity. I would be interested to know if the motivation for this planning is driven by the councils opinion this is a good idea or if it is just looking to blindly achieve central government targets.
