This is particularly needed, in particular access to the station from Penarth Marina, Tesco and Pont y Werin which currently is unsafe and unappealing for those walking, wheeling and cycling. Access to the station needs to be improved as well. Safe cycle storage at the station and/or cycle hire would enable people to connect transport modes. Cogan station links well to Llandough hospital with an ecycle, but needs a safe route across the A4055 prioritised for cyclists, as well as better access off the station platform to Andrews Road.
