Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

There are already many new houses in Rhoose. The population has increased dramatically in the last decade with no new facilities.
Transport links remain very poor, unreliable and sparce, both rail and road. Bike tracks not used.
The plan pushes Rhoose from semi-rural village to suburb of Barry.
The land is unsuitable having poor drainage, probably difficult to build on.
The proposed commercial and community provision will take business from existing businesses in the village.
The plan is the opposite to the sustainable and Green objective. It will create pollution and contribute to climate emergency

Newid wedi’i awgrymu gan ymatebydd:

These farmed fields are totally unsuitable for further housing development in Rhoose. This area should remain a green space where, in additional to being farmed for food, it provides a natural habitat for a wide range of animals, birds and insects. Even if the ancient trees/hedgerows remain, it is unlikely that the wildlife will stay. This area is on a know migratory route for birdlife. The land provides much needed soak-away as we face record breaking rainfall due to the ongoing Climate Crisis. The proposed pools of standing water risk breeding pests as temperatures increase, A development here would dramatically increase local pollution with increased vehicle use being the preferred transport. Existing local businesses will suffer. This quite, happy, friendly local community will be destroyed as it becomes just another suburb.
