Cardiff Airport is under utilised. The council needs to support increased services from Cardiff Airport. Public transport links to the airport are inadequate at present. While I support the idea of an enterprise zone and business developments at St Athan for example are positive I fear without major improvements in roading and transport links development of new enterprise areas will be in vain. Road links from the Vale to the M4 need to be considerably improved in order to attract major industry and business to the area first. This should be prioritised before the enterprise zones are developed.
