If 6.53 PGD2 'supports the residential development at higher densities particularly where these proposals are located within urban centres and near major public transport nodes or interchanges and where these can assist in supporting local services and facilities', I cannot see how the proposed density for the North West Barry site fulfills any of the above conditions. This site is NOT within an urban centre and presently has no public transport links to shops, railway station or health centres. It is a greenfield site. If 'greenfield' does not mean green fields what else does it mean?
