The Weycock Cross site is NOT compatible with the wider surroundings. it will result in loss of natural features and radically change the character of our setting. In particular it will impact the existing local community by way of noise, pollution, and hugely increased traffic congestion. We live opposite the roundabout. Our front doors open onto the noise and pollution of congested traffic. Meanwhile new housing development will eliminate the wildlife corridor between the country park and the existing boundary.
