I object to the proposed housing development due to its significant impact on the local community. The additional homes will inevitably increase traffic congestion on already busy roads and place further strain on infrastructure. Local GP surgeries and schools are already operating at or near capacity and will struggle to accommodate additional demand. The development would also result in the loss of valuable green belt land and wildlife habitat. Furthermore, the scale of the proposal risks eroding the distinct character and identity of the village, replacing it with overdevelopment that is out of keeping with the local area.
