I oppose the council’s proposal to build housing on this alreadybusy road because it will worsen traffic congestion and reduce safety for residents. The road already struggles to cope with current traffic levels, and additional housing will increase vehicle numbers, causing delays and pressure on local infrastructure. The development would also remove valuable active farmland that supports local agriculture and the rural character of the area. Once this land is lost, it cannot be replaced. These concerns represent only a small number of the issues this development would create, negatively affecting the community’s environment, sustainability, and overall quality of life.
