I strongly object to the proposed housing development on land off WeycockCross. This area supports significant local wildlife that should be protected from further habitat loss. The development would also severely impact traffic at Weycock Cross, a key junction and one of the main routes in and out of Barry. Additional housing here is likely to cause congestion and regular gridlock, affecting residents and motorists alike. The Vale Council must listen to the concerns of the community—many local people do not support this proposal. Priority should be given to improving existing services such as schools and healthcare for current residents
