I was born in Eastbrook and have lived in the district either Eastbrook or Llandough for the rest of my life. As you can imagine I have witnessed tremendous changes with development, it has changed from a lovely village where people wanted to live to an almost gridlocked area where most of the time you are stuck in traffic from Llandough through Eastbrook to Dinas Powys. It has become almost impossible to get a doctors appointment and the future for the one school we have for our children looks more than desperate. I realise people have to live somewhere but Dinas Powys and district looks way past it's sell by date. To accommodate the sort of development that is currently being subjected, that is the plan to build a massive number of houses in the Eastbrook area converging on an already extremely congested road leading to the traffic lights at Llandough. If the reason is money for the council I have lots of ideas where money could be saved.
