To the Clerk of the Council
Dear Sir or Madam
I would like to Protest about the Proposed Plan to Build 250 Houses on land at Eastbrook.
I am writing to you as i was unable to attend the Meetings that were held about this problem
As the Brook runs right in front of the property and we were Flooded a few Years ago on Christmas Eve
when one of the Sluice gates was being repaired it is so worrying to hear the they want to build Houses on One of the Contributories of the Brook we know when the tide is in as the Brook backs up then when the tide goes out so does the Water in the Brook
As i understand it most of the surface Water in Dinas Powys goes into the Brook and not down the Sewers
by Building more houses Side of the Brooke that runs through the Fields were they want to build those Houses
I would imagine that would put the risk of our Houses being flooded Quite Often has nobody thought about this
problem the Main road would be Flooded as well and the houses down in the Corner of our Estate that have been
Flooded quite often would be Flooded even More so please consider us People living in this Village and do some thing about the Planning Please
I when to a Meeting some time ago and Mentioned about the tide but nobody seamed to know about it then but we People living here see it every Day Especially when it Rains.
I wonder could you please give me your thoughts on this.
