How on earth is Dinas Powys and its infrastructure going to be able to support further development. The village is already oversubscribed in the schools and health centre. It is impossible to get a gp appointment now. Cardiff road, (where the development is proposed exit and entry) is already at over capacity. Travelling from Dinas Powys to Penarth and Cardiff is a nightmare journey with the road congested through most of the day. Cardiff Road was at capacity 5 years ago and there have been no upgrades since. Ten minute journeys take over half an hour. No new roads are promised, no new facilities are promised just more and more houses destroying our valuable countryside and environment eliminating wildlife on the way. More building will cause more flooding issues in an area which is already a high risk flood area. Does no one in the council have any sense at all. There are much better sites to consider than this one which will be ruining a valuable green belt area and will lead to the merging of Dinas Powys with Llandough. IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
