Effeithiau ar y Gymraeg:

Detrimental to put more housing where access to education in the form of welsh medium is unavailable without significantly travelling.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Rhoose a small settlement without major infrastructure is taking some 10 percent of the housing requirement with permissions outstanding at Rhoose Point and the new proposed development at Readers Way. This is a village which should not be taking such a high percentage of development when places like Llantwit Major Cowbridge and Penarth are taking virtually nothing in comparison.

Newid wedi’i awgrymu gan ymatebydd:

Reduction in the number of housing units in Rhoose until better infrastructure is provided. This would as a minimum include 2 trains per hour, 2 buses per hour, a comprehensive school, better retails and health facilities as well as improved road surface access. Until this happens Rhoose should be taking a maximum of 5percent of additional dwellings.
