Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I object to the LDP candidate site BP18A off Cardiff Road, Dinas Powys, due to concerns about increased traffic congestion on a major route, pressure on local facilities, negative biodiversity impacts, flood risks, and loss of green belt. I believe there are more suitable brownfield sites elsewhere in the Vale of Glamorgan that would avoid damaging local areas, and I am concerned that current planning decisions lack adequate consideration.

Testun llawn:

To whom may concern,
I wish to register my objections to LDP candidate site BP18A (Land off Cardiff Road, Dinas Powys) for the following reasons: 1. The development will add increased traffic congestion to a major arterial route to/from Cardiff despite it being located on a bus route and close to nearby rail stations that may be difficult to access on foot. Residents will still likely use private vehicles. 2. Put further pressure on local facilities (health, schools etc.) 3. It’ll have a negative impact on biodiversity with loss of wildlife and increased risk to flooding downstream on the River Cadoxton, as well as reduce the green belt around the village of Dinas Powys. 4. There are more appropriate brown sites in the Vale more suitable without destroying local areas, which the current Planners at the Vale of Glamorgan Council appear to be attempting and has happened already close to my home without due consideration!
