Effeithiau ar y Gymraeg:

The site is beyond walking distance of "Welsh" schools in the area.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I believe the Deposit RLDP should be amended to exclude the land at North-west Barry for the following reasons.
Traffic- This site is not within walking distance of the station which will lead too excessive traffic from the site and possible isolation of non driving residents
Water and sewage- There is a danger of sewage entering the Millwood stream. The proposed ponds may have limited capacity and could attract insects and could be hazardous.
Land Use- This is actively formed land with countryside habitats such as foxes and bats. Has a at survey been commissioned? This proposal breaks the green wedge which is a fundamental step too far.
Previous Applications- The 2014 findings were "development of this site would be detrimental to the capacity and three flow of traffic on this strategically important. A4226 which links directly to Cardiff airport."
Pedestrian Safety- There will be a need for a zebra crossing at the end of Pontypridd Rd by the garage. Bus laybys will need to be constructed for the bus stops by the Cwm Ciddy.
