I oppose the proposed development in Dinas Powys due to concerns about traffic congestion and pollution, which could affect my chronic asthma. Having moved here for a healthier lifestyle, I believe the current infrastructure is strained and that adding 250 new houses next to an already congested road is unwise. I support more housing in the Vale but feel this plan is poorly considered. I urge supporters to visit Dinas Powys during the day to see the severe congestion firsthand.
I object to the above planning reference. I am extremely concerned about the traffic in Dinas Powys. I have chronic asthma and I worry that the pollution from additional traffic will impact me. I moved out Cardiff City centre for a more peaceful and healthier lifestyle. However, the traffic through Dinas Powys is utterly dreadful. I already think the current infrastructure is at it's limit and I believe the housing development will make already awful congestion in the area unbearable. I fully support the need for more housing to be built in the vale, but 250 new houses right next to an extremely congested road is a complete nonsense. I implore anyone who supports this development to drive through Dinas Powys during the day at various times, and they will clearly see that this plan is poorly thought out.
