Effeithiau ar y Gymraeg:

The local welsh school has already been under scrutiny due to the lack of welsh spoken outside or school and in social environments; people will just move here for housing with no regard to the village community, it’s welsh speakers or the village heritage

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I moved to Dinas because it is a village with a good local school. The proposed 250 additional homes threaten the village’s status and strain the existing infrastructure, which cannot cope even after adaptations. Traffic congestion already occurs on Cardiff Road, and further expansion is impossible, risking chaos. Flooding and drainage issues will worsen with more homes. Crime and drug problems have increased due to more social housing, compromising the village’s safety. I believe Dinas cannot support this development.

Testun llawn:

I moved to Dinas specifically because it was a Village and for the local school. The prods for 250 additional homes not only jeopardises the Village status but the infrastructure juat could not cope, even after ‘adaptations’. The traffic in the mornings and evening's already grid locks the whole of Cardiff road, with no way to expand that road you are going to create absolute chaos. The drainage and flooding in Dinas is also and existing issue, and will be exasperated by additional homes. The crime and drugs in the area has risen as more and more social housing has been brought to the area, spoiling what was once a safe village. There is absolutely no way Dinas village can cope with this proposal.
