Dinas Powys can't cope with hundreds more houses. Increased congestion. 500 additional cars will cause standstill on Cardiff road. All roads around Dinas Powys are at full capacity, there are no upgrades.
Increased flooding. Our garden is often wet, being on slope from the fields where the proposed development is. The fields and trees hold lots of the rain water at the moment. With concrete, the rainwater will flow directly down to Millbrook Heights, St David's Av, Justin close and other streets will be affected by floods.
GP surgery and school are at full capacity already.
Trains are too full at peak hours. All services are at full capacity.
Wildlife is a huge part of Dinas Powys, people enjoy nature and a big house development will negatively impact the wildlife and the Village identity.
