Welsh speaking population will be diluted
Inadequate infrastructure to accommodate more housing. Increased flooding risk.
Destruction of habitat.
Village of Dinas Powys is being destroyed.
Wholly a money making scheme with no regard whatsoever to anything else.
Plan and implement infrastructure and flooding implications before planning is applied for.
I object to planning reference HG1 KS2. The infrastructure is not in place to deal with more housing in this area. The roads are crumbling already, the doctors and schools are full, the traffic through Dinas Powys is horrific, it’s gridlock all of the way through and not just at rush hour. This development will exacerbate the flooding issue already within the area as it will be removing the ability to slow the flow towards the river Cadoxton via East Brook, as well as destroying vital wildlife habitats. This plan is wholly a money making scheme with no thought or regard to the severe impacts on the area.
