I do not care about the promotion of the Welsh language, with all the other problems our communities have I think Welsh language is of little importance.
Whilst I understand the need for additional housing, this development reduces the green belt which is detrimental to Dinas Powys’ identity as a community and to the wildlife on the site. There is not enough road capacity - we need a bypass around Dinas to divert Barry traffic which has also seen a massive rise in population with developments there. Doctors already at capacity and I struggle to get an appointment as it is, this will be made worse. Schools need additional investment - not just Welsh speaking!! I also worry about flooding.
It either needs to be scrapped or relevant road adjustments I.e. a bypass or similar to divert Barry traffic away from Dinas Powys. Massive improvements needs to be made in infrastructure such as doctors surgeries and schools. Investment to support local businesses thrive.
