As a resident of Dinas Powys living 800m from the proposed site, I strongly object to this development. The village lacks the infrastructure to support 250 additional homes. The scheme relies on an already congested road network that has operated at or beyond capacity for years with little/no active travel links nearby. Local schools and NHS services are overstretched, and parking at Eastbrook Station is routinely full. Development here would increase flood risk, potentially affecting nearby properties, and cause unacceptable ecological harm. It would erode Green Belt land and fundamentally alter the character and identity of the village.
