I am concerned about the proposed housing on Land north of Dinas Powys due to limited access routes and existing congestion. More homes could exacerbate traffic and flood risks, as increased impermeable surfaces might worsen runoff without proper drainage. Healthcare services are already stretched, and additional residents would increase pressure on GPs. The village has recently expanded with three estates, and this development would significantly alter its character and strain local infrastructure.
I’m very concerned about the proposed housing on Land north of Dinas Powys. There are limited routes in and out of Dinas, which already get heavily congested, and more homes will make traffic worse. Although there are train and bus services, many journeys still rely on cars, which would add further pressure to the roads. Flooding in Dinas has been increasing, and adding more impermeable surfaces could worsen runoff unless drainage is properly addressed. GP services are already stretched, and additional residents will put further pressure on healthcare. Dinas Powys has grown with three recent estates, and this development would significantly change the village character and local infrastructure.
