I can only assume the decision to 'amend' ie decrease the NW Barry Green Wedge is a to fulfill a 'quota' for housing, despite compelling arguments against it in terms of traffic increase and chaos. The front of our homes already suffer from loud noise and pollution. Now the council sees fit to take away what quiet we have at the back. They will also be taking away the songs of the skylarks (red-listed endangered birds) that nest each year behind us. Were these identified by your environmental survey? If not, then it is not fit for purpose.
