I believe the proposed plans will inevitably be approved and houses built, despite concerns. I find the Vale Council inadequate, particularly in planning and traffic management, which is already chaotic. Our concerns as residents seem ignored, as the council appears to prioritise ticking boxes and financial gain over the impact on local residents. I consider the plans ludicrous and worry that the increasing housing will worsen traffic issues and diminish our quality of life.
I understand you have to take these proposed plans through its various planning stages, but we all know the inevitable outcome and these houses will be built anyway.
The vale council is not fit for purpose in my eyes, whoever is at the head of planning has clearly never sat in traffic on the morning commute or indeed on a busy weekend. The road infrastructure for the proposed plans coming into and out of Rhoose is already chaotic with more housing this situation will become diabolical.
Our concerns as residents don’t seem to be listened to. The vale council are ticking the correct boxes and will steamroll ahead with plans. Anyone with sound mind would think these proposed plans are ludicrous. Money at the forefront of the councils mind yet again. There is no consideration on the impact to local residents.
