Is there provision for children requiring for children requiring Welsh School places? Children living in these houses will have to be driven to school, as parents will be too nervous to allow them to walk along what is an incredibly busy road. This is not good for the environment.
I am concerned about the environmental impact of building houses in Dinas Powys, a village with more inhabitants than Cowbridge. There is no space to add facilities, and construction will erode vital green areas affecting mental well-being. Flooding risk will increase as rainwater has limited drainage options, especially given the poor condition of water mains. Traffic congestion will worsen, causing pollution and harm to wildlife. Local services like schools and health facilities are already overstretched, and there are concerns about flood protection and the impact on children's access to Welsh schools.

I am concerned with the effect on the environment building these houses. Dinas Powys is a village + yet it has more in habitants than Cowbridge, which is classed as a town . There is no space available to add facilities to Dinas Powys to make it into a town. These houses will erode the green space around Dinas Powys , so vital for the mental well- being of its inhabitants. The biggest issue will be the increased flooding risk. When land is built on, where does the rainwater go ? The water mains in Dinas Powys are in a parlous state. In the past 3 months there have been numerous leaks all over the village . Even if you hold back
water in tanks it still has to be released into the rivers. The increase in traffic + the access point , onto an already congested road, will make it gridlocked. Queuing cars cause pollution which is detrimental to plant and
bird-life. The schools are oversubscribed. + the Doctor's Surgery are also likely to be impacted by Potentially up to a thousand plus new residents. Will the Vale be prepared to purchase the houses of Flooded- out residents as has happened in ynysybwl?
