Building more houses in Dinas Powys would worsen already serious flooding risks, with the community still recovering from past severe incidents. It would also intensify traffic pressures on roads that residents say are already unsafe and virtually unusable, increasing danger for drivers and pedestrians alike. Added strain on sewage systems and local services further shows the area cannot absorb large-scale development without significant harm to the community. As a parent of children at Dinas Powys Infants I already hate the levels of pollution from idling cars and this will only intensify.
