A accident waiting to happen, the junction adjacent to the merry harriers pub is an accident waiting to happen due to lay out and construction of this junction, the volume of traffic using this junction is beyond acceptance, a small junction with access to Penarth , Dinas Powys , Llandough Hospital and surrounding areas is badly designed and especially with traffic & pedestrians coming from both ways, with the extra housing and no additional infrastructure this is in my opinion a dangerous situation, I would like it recorded that a major incident will happen to the extent that someone killed.
No infrastructure is in place to accommodate additional housing, our surgery is overcrowded, the roads are congested emitting exhaust fumes and pollution, overwhelming traffic coming through Dinas Powys from Cardiff, Barry , Penarth & Llandough.its just a matter of time before someone is fatally injured or killed with the existing layout and the additional housing planned.
