Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

This is a busy road at all times, to add addition houses along it route, in Dinas especially will cause significant delays. The road has a proposed cycle path which is not completed yet, I also feel that the cycle path will not be used by cyclists. Walking on this road is very dangerous at the best of times. All against the proposed strategy of alternative transport and against SSC1 section 9 ‘traffic’

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

A pedestrian and cycling route will be a big improvement and allow both safer travel and recreational walking/cycling. As a user of these route in my area my main request is that they are more regularly cleaned by road sweeper and little pickers. When walking it's disappointing to see how much rubbish accumulates along routes and often after heavy rain and storms the amount of dropped branches and leaves can make cycling hazardous.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Persimmon supports the overarching objectives of Policy TR1, which seeks to protect and enhance strategic transport infrastructure across the Vale of Glamorgan, including active travel routes, public transport schemes and highway improvements.

In addition to the above, allocation future growth at Land North of Dinas Powys will support planned improvements between the Barry/Biglis roundabout and Dinas Powys Active Travel Route by providing on-site pedestrian and cycle infrastructure that links directly to the proposed 2 km shared walking and cycling corridor. By aligning the site layout and access points with this strategic route the scheme shall naturally maximise the route’s functionality, safety and long-term success.
