Effeithiau ar y Gymraeg:

It will have a good effect because the changes recognise the social value of the Welsh language and will help being people together to use the welsh language and conserve the good parts about their communities.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Social Farms & Gardens support the policy principles but note some contemporary considerations are missing. Proposals for development on open space within settlements are only permitted if the remaining open space is adequate for local needs and the site lacks significant recreational, social, food growing, visual, or green infrastructure value. Open spaces are vital for community character, recreation, social cohesion, and well-being. Policy CI2 applies to all open spaces within settlement boundaries, covering various typologies including parks, allotments, sports facilities, and informal greenspaces, especially where there is an open space deficit.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The points do not offer enough protection of existing open space and do not actively discourage them being used for development enough. Stronger protections are required for our existing open space within the Vale.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Open space and recreation (CI1 and CI2): The evidence base supporting the sport and recreation elements of Policies CI1 and CI2 could be strengthened. At present
there does not appear to be a full Open Space assessment setting locally-derived standards, nor a Playing Pitch Strategy nor Indoor Sport Facility Assessment. The Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Sports and Physical Activity Facilities audit report is
currently underway (with completion anticipated in May 2026), which should make a useful contribution to the evidence base once available.
