Flood Alleviation
Llanmaes residents should still not have to rely on floodgates as their only means of defence in the face of heavy rainfall. The much discussed but never fully implemented Flood Alleviation Scheme, should be included in the RLDP. In addition, if the ill conceived retail development at Bridge Farm is rejected, this land, plus the Green Wedge, could be used for ecologically sustainable tree planting.
