In Rhoose, the current infrastructure is insufficient for the current population. Any increase in housing provision must include a complete overhaul and upgrading of the sewage system before additional housing. In this day and age it is unacceptable to have sewage leaking into the ground drainage – as I understand happened recently when the road under the bridge at Fontygary flooded.
As I identified elsewhere, the additional housing at Readers Way, Rhoose would increase the risk of more instances of flooding where run off from the land already causes problems.
