I believe the council's assessment of the Pantiles Site is inaccurate or incomplete. The site supports active travel, is not on a flood plain, and is adjacent to existing community facilities. It is identified as Sub 3B land and aligns with policies prioritising site allocation. The site meets the need for affordable homes, is in a sustainable location, and supports climate change mitigation. I urge the inspector to reexamine these decisions to ensure the VOGCC RLDP remains sound.

Pantiles Site
The councils assessment undertaken are either inaccurate or dont fully reflect the sites actual characteristics.
Supports active travel 2013 Act and VOGCC policies, Objective 8, 2.12 + 2.13. Route identified and on hold by VOGCC for completion, existing football adjacent to site.
Not on any flood plain or other constraints.
Support retail and shop and cafe to north.
The lowest BMV under ALC Wales predictive maps as Sub 3B land.
VOGCC policies state where candidate sites are put forward and clearly show this, their policies and methodology state these should be allocated first.
LHMA state along with VOGCC data the clear need for affordable homes in the area and Llandow Ward. This site promotes that need.
Not in the open countryside as stated as adjorn, commensurate to the north, public community recreational land to the west, public highways to the east and existing access and utilities and residential settlement in the south.
Supports and mitigates the effects of climate change.
Supports VOGCC policy MD10.
This site represents a sustainable and deliverable opportunity.
We urge the inspector to reexamine these decisions and support otherwise the VOGCC RLDP is unsound.
