I note that the site is one of three nearby locations for nearly 500 new dwellings from the current LDP, with the Welsh Government landowner holding conditional outline planning permission granted years ago. No agreement has been reached on Developer Contributions; the VOG Council requested £12K per dwelling, while the landowner preferred £4K. No progress has been made in developing any of these sites beyond the initial allocation and outline planning permission.
This is one of 3 sites in the immediate vicinity for a total of close to 500 new dwellings carried over from the current LDP. The landowner which is the Welsh Government gained conditional outline planning permission some years ago. I would merely comment that it appears that there has not yet been agreement reached on a Developer Contribution (it appears the VOG Council requested £12K per dwelling and the landowner for the two sites granted outline planning permission wanted it to be only £4K per dwelling). Finally, there has been no progress with development of any these 3 sites beyond the allocation some years ago, and the outline planning permission already noted.
